Bobby is the Founder and CEO at XR Games; a multi award-winning virtual reality (VR) game development studio with over 100 members of staff. XR Games works closely with Sony Pictures to bring movie licences to life in VR and AAA game studios. It also works with the world’s largest publishers and hardware manufacturers such as Meta, PlayStation and Microsoft. Since 2021 XR Games has been rapidly scaling off the back of the hit game ‘Zombieland: Headshot Fever’; and in under two years it’s gone from 20 members of staff to more than 100 - with this expected to increase by a further 50% in 2024. Bobby has grown XR Games from 0 to 100 staff and from £0 to £5m+ revenue in <6 years. Bobby has won an array of awards including ‘Technology Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2023 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, ‘Creative Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the 2022 Great British Entrepreneur Awards, ‘Top 50 City Region Leader’ at the 2022 Northern Leadership Awards, as well as being an ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award’ finalist.
